I recently came across a site called Alphabetilately, a terrific introduction to stamp collecting in the style of a children’s alphabet book. Alphabetilately has now become an exhibit at the Smithsonian National Postal Museum. Though I don’t have aspirations to appear in the Smithsonian, I thought it might be fun to try an alphabetic primer for vintage football cards.
